Fans of A-frame homes will love this sleek, modern design by California-based architect, Todd Gordon Mather!
The owner of the home had originally had a cottage on their property in Tahoe Basin, California, but it tragically burned down. Needing the structure to be replaced, they approached Todd to design something new.
The design Todd came up with had a similar layout to most other A-frames, but with a revised modern interior. Named "Phoenix Rising", the home earned Todd a 2019 CATT “Best New Residential Construction” award. The home was so popular, Todd started offering home plans for purchase. While the original A-frame is 1,700-sq-ft, you can buy a 918-sq-ft version of the home here.
